Equinix continues to expand throughout APAC
According to 451 Research’s Multi-Tenant Datacenters Global Providers 2019 report, Asia-Pacific is home to four of the top 10 metro data centre markets in the world (by operational square feet) and is expected to maintain some of the fastest annual growth rates for the next several years.
Asia-Pacific is a strategic focus of physical and product expansion for Equinix, and 2019 will see multiple data centre openings and phase launches in key markets throughout the region, as well as our entry into the South Korean market.
Equinix also launched Equinix Cloud Exchange FabricTM global connectivity in the region earlier in 2019, allowing customers to make scalable and on-demand connections to service providers and their own distributed infrastructure on Equinix's global interconnection platform.
